minutemancl Posted September 2, 2019 Share Posted September 2, 2019 Classic 2 down thumper. He's good in his role, but that role doesnt really exist in Bettcher's defense. Goodson isn't flexible enough to play the multiple roles that a LB needs to in this defense. He also isnt very good on ST; made obvious by the Giants keeping Nate Stupar, who is a garbage LB but good special teamer, and signing David Mayo to take Goodson's place, who is also a good special teamer. I think the Giants offered the 7th they have from the Saints, so they are betting on the Saints finishing better than the Ravens, which is a decent bet.
