mediumlebowski
A one-week sample size means nothing. Are the Vikings that good, or do the Falcons suck? Is GB's D drastically improved, or will Trubisky prove to be a one-year wonder, a la Rex Grossman? My opinion is that what the Vikings did is more replicable. The Viking's O-line isn't proven but neither is GB's D. Many times in the past, I've heard a puker fan declare their defense 'fixed'; turned out not in the sense of 'repaired', more like you'd 'fix' a dog. The X-factor, like normal, is Cousins. He only threw 10 passes last week, because he didn't have to throw more. Last year at Lambeau, he made some jaw-dropping throws; I honestly didn't think he was all that good before that. If the pukers do some 8 in the box, he plays pitch and catch with Diggs and Thielen and Rudolph. Both teams still have a lot to prove. Rivalries are what makes football great. Krauser
1 hour ago, Cheesehawk said: 18/30 but only 33% of his throws were accurate.. trying to understand this one lol Accuracy here means hitting the receiver on an ideal target (hit the numbers or whatever), so he doesn’t have to reach, jump, dive, etc. Good receivers can turn all kinds of less-than-perfectly-accurate throws into receptions. For instance, Graham’s TD vs the Bears was basically a jump ball that he reached across the defender to grab. Case in point: Keenum's one big year with Minny was very much accentuated by our receivers making acrobatic catches of non accurate throws. anyone get the pun...?

He can't even scare anyone on Halloween. 6'4'' 206. 4.37 40 yard dash. 15.3 yards per reception as a rookie. Trains with a guy that mooned Lambeau once upon a time. You should be a little scared. He's the reason we beat the Bears. He got deep. Then used that speed to hit a few stop routes. Only reason he didn't eclipse 100 yards is the fact that he cramped up and played very little in the second half. He's the ascending receiver. 'Vante is the established one.

Kearse will probably knock him to the turf before he even gets started. Either way, I'm sure Zimmer will have a better plan for him/them than Pagano. Pagano's a good DC, but he's not Zim. And working with Randy Moss in the off-seasons. He's the one we are excited about and it was great to see him produce last week. Tell you what...'Vante versus Rhodes is always a great matchup. Barr or any of your LB's can man up old Jimmy Graham. Allison is just a guy at receiver. Any corner, even your #5 can man him up. MVS is the one you gotta look out for if you simply man him up. And I'm hoping we unveil our secret weapon on yah this weekend. Kumerow. LOL.
Guest
Here's my bold prediction for the game. After last years tie, both defenses will play very well. Rodgers will get some completions and some yards, but the Viking secondary is able to keep all the Packer receivers out of the end zone. Rodgers scores and the defense scores. Viking running game is not as effective against the Packers, and Cousins has a mediocre game with throwing both a touchdown and a pick 6. It will come down to the waning seconds of regulation, when Dan Bailey trots onto the field to attempt a 48 yard field goal. Vikings win by 2 points.
