Allow a competent President/GM (hopefully) pick his own HC. Which then should allow for the GM/HC to fill out the staff based on the team's identity. That's what we are all hoping for, but chances are that's not what Snyder will do, as he has a thing for Redskins history and likely views Bruce as Redskins royalty. However, since the Angelos family finally gave control of the Orioles over to a competent executive, I do have hope that Snyder may do the same. It's a small sliver of hope, but at least it's something.
aceinthehouse
I'm hoping we hire a young coach. I'm talking in his 30's. Early 40's max. Not necessarily green, but someone young, who has an energy the team can feed off of. Someone like Lincoln Riley. He's only 36 yrs old.

How that was his knickname & not in a good way. Well, there's actually a coach named Jason Candle. Head Coach of Toledo. https://images.app.goo.gl/iVTo6EzzmrvHmLddA Pretty young guy Only 39 yrs old Know nothing about him. Good record there. He should be the next Redskins coach. Lol 🏈😎

MikeT14
Quote A source who knows Redskins owner Dan Snyder well and is aware of his thoughts on potential next head coaches for his team told ESPN's Ed Werder that any list of candidates would include Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27790170/winless-redskins-fire-coach-jay-gruden

I have been clamoring for Bieniemy. He's been my guy. He is a former runningbacks coach so we know he can work with that and he's been a solid part of Patrick Mahomes' development. This is who I would want. Although, I wouldn't say no to Tomlin.

It could depend actually if Tomlin is let go after the season. It's at the point of falling on deaf ears which unfortunately happens. He's just been there awhile and sometimes that has an expiration date.
aceinthehouse
My top choice is Lovie Smith! He's exactly what this team needs. Defensive minded genius & coach. Runs a 4-3 Defense, which I hope we go back too. We could do it with Payne, Allen, Ionitus, Settle, Kerrigan & Sweat. Lovie is my #1 choice at the moment.
