It's a long season and bats a just that bit slower and what with roster upgrades, more fresh arms are around and chucking it (see below). 3 minutes ago, vikesfan89 said: How are the Yankees starters? Our 3rd starter might be the former Uber driver They've firmed things us since last we played in MN - thank goodness - plus Sevy's just returned and he's definitely gonna be a shot in the arm (pun unintended). 5 minutes ago, vikesfan89 said: Kepler hasn't played in a while. Getting him back would be huge especially with Buxton out. A couple other players are dinged up but should be able to play. Most rosters have similar chinks in their armor. Hopefully, it evens out and doesnt affect outcomes. 6 minutes ago, vikesfan89 said: How are the Yankees starters? Our 3rd starter might be the former Uber driver Dont be dissing Uber now...... I hear they have a good track record developing talent
hrubes20
Rooting for Cleveland in the AL (haha, like it's going to be anyone but the Astros) and Washington in the NL (haha, like it's going to be anyone but the Dodgers).
hrubes20
Crap. Didn't realize Cleveland was 1.5 games back. They probably aren't in. I change my AL rooting preferance to the Twins.

I see that Scherzer is slated for Sunday currently. If the Brewers keep the pressure on the Nats for the top WC spot, you have to imagine he'll pitch Sunday, right? Then they'd use Strasburg for the WC game, correct? Davey says the WC game is Scherzers.

tom cody
If Toronto can develop some good pitching they'e going to be a top team to watch come 2021 or 2022.

If the Jays sweep the Rays this weekend, then beat the AAA World Series Champ the COlumbus Clippers in a best of three series, they get in the win or go home game against the Montreal Alouettes. BayRaider
If the Blue Jays hold on to their lead over Rays and A’s win tonight, they will claim home field in the wildcard game (we have tie breaker).
BayRaider
No offense to the NL, anything can happen in the WS. But man is the AL tough. Astros are the best team I’ve seen in a while. Yankees are amazing. Twins are amazing. A’s are criminally underrated as they always are and can hang with anyone. Rays pitching is Top 3 in the majors and their offense is on fire lately. Hard to imagine Astros not being heavy WS favorites but the AL Playoffs is STACKED. Should be a lot of fun and good luck to everyone.
