Elky
Here's a tricky one: what are examples of teams that win in a blowout despite poor play from their QB?

Chargers
Tom Brady in Super Bowl 53. 49ers in 2011 were smoking teams early in the season and Alex was putting up duds until they went with CK 2009-2010 Jets had a number of routs that Sanchez put up disgusting numbers. iknowcool
In 2010, Todd Collins vs Panthers went 6/16, 32 yards, and 4 INTs. Bears won 23-6. Panthers offense could muster only 6 points against a team with that kind of passing... FWIW, Clausen was 9/22 for 61 yards and 1 INT.
J-ALL-DAY
How about Trubisky vs Rams last year? Is that game considered a blowout or no? Because he was utterly garbage.

So besides the wrong year and being completely ignorant of Alex Smith’s performance in 2012... yeah, just an awful hot take. Smith had one bad game in 2012 and was like a 115 to 120 rated QB in the rest of his games combined. He was literally 25 of 27 for 304 yards and 4 TDs in his last 1 1/2 games when he got a minor injury and Harbaugh lied about the hot hand so he could do things his way with his guy after Smith was healthy. The fact that you remember some Trumpian fake news version of the 2012 49ers is really kinda sad. I lived in the Bay Area then, watched all the games, and know how to use the internet, so hooray for reality!

RandyMossIsBoss
In 2000 we beat the Cowboys 41-14 in week 1 w/ McNabb going 16/28 for 130 yards, 1 TD and 3 INTs. He did add 30 yards and a TD on the ground though. An odd one was Warner on the GSOT Rams. They beat the Panthers 48-14 despite Warner throwing for only 144 yards and 1 TD while throwing 3 INTs.
TecmoSuperJoe
There was a game in 1985 where the Bears shut out the Cowboys 44-0. Steve Fuller the Bears QB was 9/24 for 164 yards, and an INT. He did have a rushing TD however.
