Northland
A name that gets mentioned a little in connection with Dallas but one whom I think will be a serious contender is Dan Campbell. You can do a lot worse than someone who has learned under Payton.

DaBoys
I'm not sure how to feel about the traction, Jason Witten as the new HC is getting. On the one hand I think he'll command respect and be a good rah rah HC. On the other hand, he's been our starting TE. Not a staffer.

They know full well that Garrett is gone and just need something to talk about.

That would be a Jerry move. However, we have to remember that Jason doesn’t have a contract at the end of the season. If we are done on Sunday, Garrett is done on Monday regardless 😎. I don’t think Jerry will wait till SB week to announce the new HC or if Jason gets a new contact 🙄

CAPJ
Jason Garrett made the playoffs three times in 10 seasons as the Cowboys' coach. Assuming the Cowboys do not get lucky on Sunday, his seven playoff-less seasons will be as many as Barry Switzer, Chan Gailey, Dave Campo, Bill Parcells, and Wade Phillips COMBINED. Just another reason for him to go.

Phillps, like Switzer, inherited good teams and promptly destroyed them.
