Wow! This game fell apart for KC because of that stupid play before halftime by the Chiefs. Should've kicked the FG instead of trying for a TD. Never was the same after that.

Random thought that I just had:
The 2018 49ers saw their starting QB, Jimmy Garoppolo, go down with a torn ACL during the season, causing them to wind up with a high draft pick which they used to draft an elite talent in Nick Bosa, and in their next season went to the Super Bowl with Bosa winning Rookie of the Year.

The 2020 Bengals saw their starting QB, Joe Burrow, go down with a torn ACL during the season, causing them to wind up with a high draft pick which they used to draft an elite talent in Ja'Marr Chase, and in their next season went to the Super Bowl with Chase almost certainly winning Rookie of the Year.
