Lol at those two teams not being good, especially when it took some missed FGs from the Bengals for the Packers to even win that game. That man must be overrating the Packers big time.

Exactly. Guys like Preston and Z Smith are on the chopping block, which is the majority of their pass rush. Dean Lowery, who was really good this year, is a FA. Tonyan is an emerging TE and also a FA. D Campbell and Rasul Douglas both had breakout years and both FA, going to pay both?

Sure, they can create low cap hits this year, but if Rodgers is getting $45mil AAV and Adams $30+ mil AAV, then they're going to have monster cap hits in the following years. I get that Rodgers only throws to Adams, but they might have to siphon off a lot of talent on defense to cater to Rodgers, which completes the vicious cycle of the Packers:

 - Supremely talented on offense, go to the playoffs

 - Lose in the playoffs because of bad defense

 - Rinse, wash, repeat...

At the moment, the only teams that are title contenders are the Rams, Niners, Cowboys and Packers in the NFC. Things obviously can change if the Eagles or Bucs or whoever trades for a top level QB. Feel confident saying the four teams I listed are on a level of their own.

So please Philly and TB and Minny, don't trade for Watson or Wilson lol.
