Trojan Posted January 28, 2020 Share Posted January 28, 2020 I just realized something when checking my cap space to see if I could afford Yannick's franchise tag... and that the (franchise tag, but more relevant) UFA Bids for round 1 are calculated into the public official team docs. Not that someone would, but it's possible to monitor other teams cap and see if they are bidding heavy in a FA round or not. Likely isn't relevant until the like "one hour til FA closes" type scenario and someone notices another teams cap shrank by an exact number to kinda be able to semi-accurately guess the contract. The biggest issue I could see this being for is in the event of a tie bid teams could know the exact amount the other team is bidding, so those might want to be done through PM instead of the linked docs -- normal FA the most info I think it could generate is still clouded by speculation on who is bidding where.
