All along Hooper was going to be the likely target b/c TEs mean so much to the Stefanski offense.

His production is mostly him running uncovered open b/c Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones are taking two defenders and at least two sets if not three sets of eyes with them on a given play.

He doesn't not go up and dominate at the catch point; however, he's a run after catch specialist who's tough and wiling blocker. He's not good blocker though by any means.

Only problem is man oh man is are roster top heavy with major expenditures at WR, WR, and TE.

That's the type of stuff you do when you're in striking distance of the Super Bowl or late round playoff contention.

When you're building out high investment on the DE, DT, and OL positions are what make the most longterm sustainable sense.

Sucks that Anthony Harris and Thuney are off the board.

Yeah give me Bulaga and Jason Peters if not Conklin

just give me some starters on the Oline

hell if we cant sign Harris since he’s franchised I’d be happy cutting Vernon and bringing in Clowney we need to spend some money

Only problem is one of Bryan Bulaga's knees explodes every other year and he plays with his feet in the mud on any movement based blocking calls.

Peters, I don't know what he has left.

We have to sign at least 2 guys though. We can't strike out and depend on the draft to solve our ills.

I'd say sign Graham Glasgow, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, and Jason Peters as lower paid and/or stop-gap solutions until we can get longterm high quality starters.

The Baltimore Ravens Front Office first with Legend Ozzie Newsome for decades and now with his mentee Eric DeCosta is so good it makes my head hurt.

They Turned uber talented, oft-injured, 27 years old next season Tight End Hayden Hurst into a 2nd round pick.

That value gained is just madness especially when they have Mark Andrews and Nick Boyle.

Insane win. First Calais Campbell for a warm half eaten jar of pickles and now a 2nd for Hayden Hurst.

They are goin in... and I don't like it at all.

What is everyone’s infatuation with Jason Peters..... draft one of the tackles at 10

He's been one of the best tackles in the league for like 15 years and was great again last year, only missed 3 games. I don't think anyone is saying to sign Peters instead of drafting someone at 10. Just sign Peters and don't let it impact your draft plans at all.

1.)  A Tackle is not a Tackle is not a Tackle.

2.) If we do draft said Tackle, who's going to play the other Tackle spot? Chris Hubbard?? Another rookie? Please don't say Drew "Prospect X" Forbes or Kendall Lamm.
