Now you want to thrust a rookie into the starting role that most likely was a 3rd rd pick. No thanks. He does not give us time cause we have no idea how much time he can truly give us and I’m not gambling on a player of his age at such an important position get Conklin and draft a tackle at 10 and be set at tackles for potentially the next 10years Have you ever researched Conklin? He’s been hurt more than anyone. If injuries are gonna scare you off from an OT, you should be petrified of Conklin.

Plan B would be a deal for Trent Williams and Conklin. Remember: The nerds brought Tretter and Zeitler in one off season. They know that bold strokes are needed to "fix" a deficient OL. This season, Conklin passed that threshold and was one of the best tackles this year What is your research?

It’s not exactly a hot take to say he has a troubling injury history.

He also wasn’t cleared to play until week3 of ‘18, so the dude rushed back. His knee looked fine this year.
pnies20
If the asking price for Trent ends up not being astronomical, I’d sign him and draft Wirfs to play RT. I think that’s his best position and works out perfectly for the Browns.

big poppa pump
Isn't the negotiating period for FA in a week? The big names always drop early. Will be fun to see how active we are with the big name FA's. The only one I could see us going after is Conklin. If we don't get him, it will be some tier 2 or 3 type of guys imo. candyman93
Trade for Trent Williams and sign Anthony Harris. That'd be a homerun free agency.
