No he was never open to coming to England... not sure where you got that from. He has always said that him and his family don't want to leave Italy. Its definitely a hell of a move by Inter to get him. Also, to comment on something a few pages back when Shaqiri was mentioned, I'd be more than happy to have him at Chelsea. Not as a starting 11 player, but like @BaltimoreTerp mentioned, he would be a great rotation option for any top 6 side. It was a blatant exaggeration due to the fact we were linked with him and wanted to stay in Rome because he loves it in Rome then a year later after signing a new deal leaves them.
