Good teams always draft specialists in the 2nd rounds Depending where the next 3 picks go, I'm not going to get mad yet. BroncosFan2010
Funny how we complain about our inept offense for 4 years and complain more when we go all out to address it, especially when the league has gone even more score and speed crazy within that time. Shurmer prefers 3 wide sets, we should have all known that from the time he signed. The WR3 in this system may see 75%+ of all offensive snaps. This isn’t a two TE or PA squad. We’re gonna pass a ton. And when we do pass check-downs or short it’s much more efficient to get those passes to speedsters than some sloth like TE2 Edited April 25, 2020 by BroncosFan2010

Let their starting OC walk and if they now don’t draft one then one of Morris or Schlottmann must have impressed Munch I think they both did.

I know I have.

I have a good friend that is tight with a guy that is an advance scout for the Saints and he loves Jeudy and Hamler for the Broncos. We’re gonna pass a ton. The issue is that they didn't mine value in the WR class by going WR Rd1-2, when a Rd3 guy likely is a similar (or daresay better) talent. You know almost everyone got behind double-dipping WR with a Day 2 pick - just not Rd2. If Hamler kills it, no one will complain. But it's a fair argument - no class is as deep as WR this year. So it's definitely lost opportunity to mine that value later and get a difference maker in Rd2 (Espenesa, CB top tier left). That's all. But yes, if we ONLY went 1-WR, then we'd be just as upset later lol.

Gotta wait it out to judge, at least until the end of the day.

Good teams always draft specialists in the 2nd rounds Hamler is a starter in this offense. We said we wanted to come out of this draft with 3 starters - we just got our 2nd. Now I expect we’ll either see a center or Nickel safety (Parks replacement). That’s your 3 starters out of this draft

You just don’t like Hamler, nor appreciate that he’s not just another WR, but the 2nd fastest WR in the draft who will do things in this offense that the other available WR won’t do. They’re not interchangeable.
