The sample size is too small to draw any real solid conclusion.  Your efficiency point is no more solid than the point that he hurts the running TD output.   It isn't trolling to not agree with everything the Packers did last weekend.

So 5.0 YPC over the course of 12 games isn't enough to draw a conclusion that he drastically effects the running game? 25% of the season, which apparently isn't enough time to evaluate how effective someone is, they were a subpar rushing offense and he happened to be out of the lineup during that stretch. With Juice, they averaged under 4 YPC two times in 12 games. Without him? 3 times in 4 games. But sure, we don't have enough of a sample size to prove one way or another.

Picking try hard guys

How do you watch the tape and come away with Deguara as a try hard guy? This isn't John Kuhn. Try hard guys don't get lined up all over the offense and do it effectively. Whether you want to admit it or not, Deguara is a skill player. The tape shows it.

What spot would that be?

The fourth round?

Start thinking about players like this in the 5th - 7th.  If he's not available then, find another similar type player that is available.    There were more impactful positions of need,  and surer bets in the 3rd.

No.  Rationalization is the forum words at the moment.   People are posting like love is likely to become great.   What are the real odds? 10% is closer than likely.

Picking try hard guys that have below average size, and average athleticism at non impact positions is not how you build teams.   These should be late round picks.  I really like the player, if acquired in the proper spot.

How is TE not an impact position?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Obviously the Packers valued their draft pick beauties more than you did.

Not asking you to agree with it, but to discuss in good faith.

One of Jace/Josiah will eventually get to the pro bowl for us.  Can’t have three straight busts at the same position in the same round.

I was going to bring up Randall, Ahmad Carroll, and Terrell Buckley but there's an Antuan Edwards in there and he was merely mediocre.

Flat out, anybody that watches Deguara and identifies him as a "try hard" is someone whose opinions you shouldn't put any stock into.

What part of his profile says that you throw away positional value because of traits?

6'2"   tall, 245 lbs, 31 5/8 arms,  7.15 3 cone.    So he is short, with average speed and quickness.    Average stats in a lower level conference.  Made an impression with hustle.

He is a nice player to get in the later rounds.   There were good players at more impacting positions for the 3rd round.
