To score 100 points in 56 games, you need a pace of 1.79 PPG. McDavid had 64 points at the 39 game mark. (1.64 PPG) He needed 36 points in the final 17 games to reach 100. (2.12PPG) At this point, I thought it was out of reach. Even for McDavid. Since then, he has scored 27 points in the last 11 games. (2.45 PPG) He now needs 9 points in the last 6 games. Parros is a moron and useless, but he's a figurehead. It's the old fossils like Colin Campbell who Parros reports to. We've had this issue for years, DoPs doesn't do anything of note. There is a athletic article which states Parros didn’t want to suspend Wilson for his hit on Carlo, but bettman stepped in and forced him to suspend Wilson 7 games. If we win, cool, but it doesn't matter to me tonight. The NHL has made it clear that they can't be counted on to police their players, so it is on us to do it. Edit: Oh yeah, and firing Davidson and Gorton is just plain stupid. Meanwhile, Quinn is still here (not that I am against giving him one more year, but he has not impressed me).
