If he can 'cruit though, they might be able to keep him. He won’t last. He will get a better job in 2-3 years like your mentioned. But there is also a strong chance he could stay tho. ACC isn’t the strongest conference. He is in a pretty good area for recruiting wise. Also think he is from NJ, so it’s kinda close to home for him. Might be too early for him, but I think he's got a promising future, and I think he'd have the recruiting juice needed.
