-Hope- Posted November 22, 2020 Share Posted November 22, 2020 arthur smith is just weird, man. y'all know me, i'm not the most optimistic guy lol, but as soon as i saw the first few plays of our OT drive i knew we were gonna score or at least have a FG chance. the offense just has a totally different rhythm about it when he's on his game, and you could see it the last two drives (and our opening drive, for that matter). but i just have no idea what he was doing for the entire rest of the game lol. He is very hot and cold as a play caller. Super polarizing. You almost always have this feeling when we are going to score or not based on the first few play calls. TitanLegend Posted November 22, 2020 Share Posted November 22, 2020 Smith isn't perfect, but there is only so much he can do when his backup left tackle gets beat, when his RB blows a blocking assignment, when his receiver won't catch the ball, etc. Offensive issues weigh far more heavy towards execution than they do play caller.
