We would be in a worse salary cap position next year than we already are if we trade him and just be paying him for another team to have him.

How about you take a look at the contract before bringing up dumb trade ideas?

Yeah, but that's a weekly thing. Our defense isn't that bad. I believe coming into this game we were like 10th in yards allowed and 17th in points allowed and while that 17th doesn't sound great our defense has been provided a ton of bad fields by turnovers.
