So did Amari and Zeke. Collins did not make the pro bowl but should have. Dak also had a defense that gave up on average 10 less ppg. I get it... it's gotta sting that both Cam Newton at $1M and Dalton at $3M have better winning % than Dak with far less talent around them. It's ok champ, keep your head up. Maybe one day someone will come up with a chart or graph that help you understand that winning more while costing less money is a good thing in the salary cap era. I said Cam at $1M + $30M in other players is better than just Dak at $31M. Obviously cam has a better winning % than Dak did this year. Cam, while winning more than Dak, did so with a ton of nobodies on offense. Seriously, there’s not an offensive skill player on the patriots roster that would even get playing time in Dallas. Paying Dak $31M this year did nothing but hurt the team. If the cowboys somehow make the playoffs it will be because of Andy dalton did what Dak couldn’t... and did it for $28M less. Did anyone notice that when Fletcher Cox went out of the game Dallas's offense caught fire? The running game featured Zeke for 105. The passing game had multiple 100 yard receivers. The QB threw for almost 400 yards. Funny how a dominant DT has THAT much impact on an entire defense. But let's keep drafting DBs high in our next draft. - sorry, had to throw that one out there. The two teams paying their Top 2 CBs at least $14M/yr (Baltimore and Miami), more than Dallas pays its entire starting secondary, have better defenses than this team could dream of. But keep raging as this team drafts a decent #2 corner in the second round roughly every 3-4 years. It's clearly their biggest inhibitor as a franchise.
