That's the time til you can resume practice. figure twice that for full recovery. Still, he should be ready for summer camp, just not mini-camp. BigTrav
He'll be ready next year physically. Whether he'll be what he was is another questions.
mayanfootball
Didn't know where else to put this. Editor's note: This story originally ran on Dec. 2, 2020. The story has been re-published ahead of the Chiefs' appearance in Super Bowl LV. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30424487/why-everyone-loves-chiefs-coach-andy-reid
onejayhawk
Here's a photo album of the 21 players who were not on the team last year. Many are new, but others were hurt--Thornhill, Okafor, Henne, Darrel Williams, Wylie. Where would we be without the rookies--CEH, Danna, Sneed, Wharton, Townsend?https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/gallery/kansas-city-chiefs-players-who-were-absent-from-super-bowl-54/ J
BigTrav
Reid describing the Kelce brothers as 'sweet and sour pork' tells you everything you need to know about all of Andy, Travis and Jason. Haha! Love live Andy!
onejayhawk
Fun fact. According to Chris Simms, Chris Jones is the biggest trash talker in the NFL. Clark's known for it as well. J

onejayhawk
Look at it this way, Sneed has already gone through it. We actually need him. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2021/2/1/22261203/ljarius-sneed-out-of-protocol-sammy-watkins-practices-on-monday
Chiefs_5627
Just a random thought but I wonder if Sammy retires if we win this Sunday. Maybe it's my fatigue of him and his injuries but he missed an awful lot of time again with what didn't appear to be much. I've always questioned his willingness to persevere through his boo-boos but this year especially seemed like he's even further away. But now he's on the mend right before the Super Bowl...fishy imo. Either way I think it's definitely time for him to scoot on down the road not even taking into consideration of a contract. Just can't rely on him.
onejayhawk
It would not shock me. Then again, it would not shock me if Sammy played five more years for three more teams. J
