And to those that say he is Xavier Rhodes, well Xavier played pretty damn decent for the Colts last year and was clearly not done for like many thought he was around here. Secondly, Xavier Rhodes is not near the athlete Patrick Peterson is now and will be. Peterson has awesome coverage and ball skills and will love to see what he does and how he can help the young corners. CB Patrick Peterson SS Harrison Smith FS ? CB Cam Dantzler Slot CB Gladney or Hughes Still a question at safety but Peterson provides a lot of stability, wish they could have got a veteran OG but one year deal will see what he can do for a 8 time Pro bowler and 3 time All pro. Tomlinson should be an absolute stud if Hunter can stay healthy. Wonnum could become the starter at DE, same with Weatherly possibly. Will be fun to see how Peterson does, is a big physical press corner who is wildly experienced and proven. Could be a great help to young corners who all flashed at times last year. Arguably if he plays just average, in terms of talent he is the best CB the Vikings have had since Antonie Winfield and has been 9 years since he played here. Surprised they did not do that a little last year but with Anthony Harris was not really needed. Adrian Peterson I would love, would have loved him on the team last year for $1 mil a year, and still if he is that low of a number would be great to have him as a 3rd RB since Mike Boone is gone. Vikings did not want to guarantee Boone $2.6 mil and the Broncos did, Peterson made less than that last year. If he would come for around $1 mil why not? The tweet said they were looking at bringing someone in for the secondary..... that would be Peterson..... and they are also looking to the offensive line. I didn’t mean that every spot in the secondary was solved. We haven’t even gotten to the draft yet. Who knows maybe the Safety spot is solved in the draft.
