Rate Your Team's Units

This is a 0-10 scale with the extremes being unachievable. A team that averages 7 should win the title

9 = Dan Marino on a roll. The best stretch ever, done for a whole season.
8 = Likely the best in the NFL this decade
7 = Elite, top 3-5
6 = Good Stuff, clear top 10
5 = 15 teams better and 15 teams worse
4 = Every team has a weak link
3 = Bottom 3-5
2 = Chargers punt return unit
1 = Tim Tebow on ice.

Think not only of starters, but of the rotation used in the course of a season. Rate the unit as a whole.
The middle is crowded. 10-15 teams in the league will fit between 4.5 and 5.5 on any section.

QB -
RB/FB -
WR -
TE -
OL -

DL -
LB -
DB -

ST scoring -

OL - 6

DL - who knows? 4?

LB - 6

DB - who knows? 3?

Colts atm.

QB- 5 potential to swing either way. ???

RB-8- Such a deep group.

WR- 6- could be higher depending on Pittman development and Campbell health.

TE- 6-

OL- 8( Could be higher Fisher is close)

DL- 6.5 Buckner is a beast but there’s pressure on young DEs

LB- 7.5- Leonard and Bobby O. are going to be a great duo

DB-6.5-Some young talent could be higher tbh.

ST 7.5

ST coverage 7

ST 7.5

You are claiming the Colts' RB are the best in history and that the team should go undefeated.

Just sayin'.

tbh your scale is a bit confusing if 8 is that high what’s 9,10 lol.

7 is elite
8 is the best unit in a decade, so 8.5 is the best ever.
9 is the best short term run ever by anyone
10 can never happen

If you rank every team from 1-32, best to worst, 12 is about 5.5 and 21 is about 4.5. To get 6 you need to be clear top 10. It gets thin fast away from the middle.

Before injuries the Jets would have had one somewhat of an elite unit. Dang. Now I can’t even brag about any unit.

QB: TBD

RB: 5. Our OL has some guys that can create push up front.

WR: 5.5. A little projection here.

TE: 2.5. Anyone got some spare TEs laying around?

OL: 5. We’ve come a long way.

DL. 5. Would have been a 6.5 if not for two season ending injuries.

LB: 4. Aside from Mosley, the other guys are young with potential but unproven

DB: 4. I think most expect us to be bottom 5 but I think guys will play better than expected.

ST scoring: 3. you mean kicker? Yea. We suck.

ST coverage: 6

ST return: IDK.

What a bizarre ranking system.

I’m just gonna go ahead and rank mine with the traditional 1-10 scale with 1 being worst in the league, 5 being league average, and 10 being best in the league lol.

QB - 8.5

RB - 8

WR - 3.5

TE - 7.5

OL - 4.5

DL - 7.5

LB - 5

CB - 9.5

S - 7

K - 10

P - 8

KR/PR - 5

ST Coverage: 9

One of the best defenses in the NFL (probably the top DL overall).  Offense is probably around league average.  QB is slightly below league average.

Playoff contender.

QB - 6 Cousins is above average but the backup QB situation is terrible
RB/FB - 7 Cook is top 5 and Mattison could start in this league
WR - 7 Jefferson and Thielen is as good of a duo as you will find right now. Still need a 3rd WR to emerge.
TE - 4 Hard to rank Irv Smith right now but he’s got a ton of upside and should see more opportunities with Rudolph gone. Depth behind Smith isn’t proven.
OL - 5 Tons of questions but I actually like the upside here.

DL - 6 Tons of potential if Hunter returns to form and the DT trio of Pierce, Tomlinson and Richardson. Deep at DE too with Griffen, Weathely, and Wonnum (starter at RE)
LB - 7 Kendricks and Barr are nice starting duo. Lots of athletes behind them.
DB - 5 Could be the weak link on the defense. Not sure how good Patrick Peterson and Breeland will be at CB. Dantzler and Alexander are also solid pieces at CB. Smith is still an elite safety.

ST scoring - 3 Assuming terrible
ST coverage - 3 Assuming terrible
ST returns - 4 Assuming slightly less terrible
