Madmike90
Brad Biggs @BradBiggs · 1h Not seen during period of practice open to media: CBs Desmond Trufant, Tre Roberson TE Scooter Harrington OL Adam Redmond, Tyrone Wheatley Jr DL Daniel Archibong Interesting that Trufant & Roberson are both on this list and that Harrington, Redmond & Archibong have been waived...if both CBs are gone we 100% are picking up a CB from another team.
blkwdw13
Trufant has been dealing with the passing of his father I guess the funeral was last week, and didn't Roberson get injured against the Titans. soulman
Brad Biggs @BradBiggs #Bears have informed OL Adam Redmond he will be placed on waivers 1:26 PM · Aug 30, 2021 Figures. Redmond might have been the best OC in camp. No surprises among the others.
blkwdw13
Now everyone that was reported not practicing besides Trufant and Roberson have been waived.
dll2000
I'll be honest I noticed some of these guys playing in last game, but I had no idea they were even on the team.
WindyCity
Roberson was better in the preseason than Vildor.
Epyon
Not exactly surprising, but not really much interesting from other team's cuts that I've seen thus far. Pierre Desir-cb maybe but he's been around for something like 5 or 6 years and hasn't amounted to anything yet... Think it was Seattle that cut him Imortbhebhe-wr was an athletic freak of nature but super raw wr.... Kind of intriguing for potential ceiling, but he's also blatantly not even at Adams' level right now and unless he develops probably will never be... That'd be a hell of a gamble... Jacksonville cut him, and he played ball out of uofi... Was kind of wanting him as a very late round flyer or udfa pick up. There was also a wr Isiah Coulter from the Texans, sports mockery had an article about him before the release happened, but that's the only time I remember hearing his name before. I didn't recognize any of the OL released yesterday Not much to stake any waiver claims on yet. Hopefully we'll see more /better action today going up to the deadline. Yes, but they "feel good" about Vildor and to paraphrase Ricardo Montalban.....It is better to "feel good" than to "play good". We started camp with a **** load of CBs just like we did with TEs a couple years ago and yet we still couldn't come away with a solid #2 CB or a solid Slot CB so two weeks before the season starts were still shopping CBs in a market so lacking that it looks like the TP shelf during the early weeks of the pandemic. Trufant seems to have turned into a much less costly version of Quinn. Apparently Pace still likes spending money on players who aren't even sure they want to play any longer vs extending our own guys who do and have earned it. I'm about as over having a GM and HC who can only seem to get half their job done as I can get. I do believe it's time to shake the tree again from the top down. I would add he looked a lot better than Shelley also. The Washington NB that just got cut should be looked at as a pick up, also Tyrell Cosby who started at OT for the Lions should be looked at also. There will be some other names out there today too.

He's a guy i think we'd take a look at, but ultimately he would likely only do something like 2 catches for 17 yards in a final preseason game against a team like the titans, and probably not showing enough to keep over a guy already on our roster, and would end up getting cut

QB Cam Newton -him too TE Kahale Warring - a lot of us wanted him in draft - me included. ... TBC
