How can he do that when he is told to run on the first two downs ?90%? of the time.

Who says he ia being told to? That is a total guess...plus if he is being asked to only have 10-20% passing plays they need to be ones that create mismatches...how has he got Shaheen on the field?...have we seen any really interesting ways of using Cohen? Is he finding ways of getting guys in positions to make a real difference? No.

Cool, let's break down your sentence structure then.

How much money do we have invested in the OL for these guys to underperform or get hurt?

This sentence, because of your "or" placement, can be read as two sentences (your "or" is what allows it to be one sentence)

How much money do we have invested in the OL for these guys to underperform? OR How much money do we have invested in the OL for these guys to get hurt?

Now, I can read just fine, it's your writing ability that could use some work.

Yet neither say the more they make the more likely they are to get hurt.

Because Fox has shown through out his career with many different OCs that this is what he does.  Shaheen didn't do much in preseason besides fall over, and Loggains has been a little creative with Cohen just not to the extent we wanted.

I don't think he has done anything any run of the mill OC could do and considering we are going to hitch or wagon to Trubisky we need more than that.

So what are they going to do mid season, they aren't changing the offense.

It's called analytical reasoning. You original question "how much money do we have invested in the OL" with the variable "to get hurt" implies that the money that we invest in them means they shouldn't get hurt. And by questioning "how much", your writing style implies that the more money that is invested in them, the less likely they are (or should be) to get hurt.
