Empire Lies Posted October 20, 2021 Share Posted October 20, 2021 I don't think it should matter as I think Fangio should keep his job, but Fangio can't lose this game so the looks and pressures are going to be wild. Case Keenum is dad-bod washed and it is not his fault. 2 and half years on the bench, a cushy backup contract, and no real chance of starting does that to vet QBs. Getting adjusted to the game speed, pace, and snap by snap decision making is tough in real time. It doesn't matter what the preseason looked like. And even then he was backpeddling away from pressures and missing open throws. I want to see what Nick Mullens has left in the tank. With Keenum, will be fun to see Demetric Felton in the wildcat and various jet sweeps with guys. Keenum can be effective on deep ball touch throws so there's upside that the offense can be explosive if the running game is effective enough to sell the play-action. I dont like Johnson unless our line is healthy, he has excellent vision and falls forward. He doesnt have game breaking speed. John kelly seems like he can break a tackle or two. To me the key to this game Is the defense sending Von Miller a message that we are the best in the NFL. 2nd point wherever he goes he gets pounded on by multiple blockers.
