Thomas5737
It's a new year boys and girls (as if)!!!!!! We are undefeated in 2022. I think we all know what 2022 will bring. Just add up the numbers...it's 6. I know a lot of us want our QB benched, cut, thrown out of the plane, etc... But there is still work to do. If the Chiefs take care of business and the Rams take care of business we are back to controlling our own destiny. Sure it's undeserving but who cares. We'll take a division win with a lackluster 9-8 season and roll into the playoffs with momentum and will shock the world. We finally get to have a week of practice to get everyone in sync. We will. It will be glorious. We will lean on our run game and we will succeed. We are frustrated but we will get another week to keep caring about football. Then it is up to whoever does the week 18 GDT to send us into the playoffs. A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away our forefathers brought forth to this nation American football... We faced a lot of tough times but just when it looked like we were down and out... We brought in guys who could take us to the moon.... Sure, there were going to be bumps in the roads... But we still had time to get in sync and take control of our density errr destiny... So... Steelers suck Edited January 1, 2022 by Thomas5737
Bucketheadsdad
Not sure I'm keen on comparing Goose and Maverick with former Nazis. That being said, this may very well be Big Ben's final game played in Pittsburgh. Hey Ben... Time for you to ride off into the sunset. Did Father time with you? Yes. Finally. Thank goodness. Enjoy what is hopefully your last game at the Ketchup Bowl. I hope we make it memorable for you. You know. Like the last time we played you there. Yep. In 2026 (or so) you'll be getting a jacket to match your game pants (well deserved), but for this one last game....here is to hoping that it is memorable. For all the wrong reasons. candyman93
All hands on deck: Quote [Browns] could have defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (COVID), safety John Johnson III (hamstring), defensive back Troy Hill (COVID, knee) and cornerback Greg Newsome II (COVID, concussion) Quote The Browns might also have Kareem Hunt back (COVID, ankle) back for that game
DawgX
Playoff chances are extremely low, but they're still alive if we win. Plus, it'll be so sweet to beat Big Ben in our final game if he does indeed retire. But it'll be a Browns thing to do to let Ben destroy us in his final game against us. I trust Kansas City and LA to win their games more than I trust us.
MWil23
@candyman93 correct me if I’m wrong, but if we win out and KC beats Cincinnati, we just need Baltimore to lose once to either Pittsburgh or LA, correct?

You’re correct, but I do NOT trust Pittsburgh at all. The Rams are actually a competent team fighting for something. Rams could get the #1 overall seed. LETSGOBROWNIES
Current mood? Indifferent. Between the squandered chances and covid nonsense I’ve had just about my fill for this season. Obviously I hope they win the next two if for no other reason than it’s the Steelers and Bengals, but I don’t trust them to do so.

You’ll have a heart palp if the Bengals and Ravens lose Sunday.
