Shady Slim
i'm hoping that we can trade for jimmy g before the draft, and funnel our picks into cb and the oline - that's a very obvious strategy re the cb and oline picks but its obvious bc it's necessary you know who else thinks jimmy g would be a good fit for the steelers? future gm of the organisation mina kimes! Cbrunn
Solid list for the senior bowl Obviously a QB could separate himself Some of the littler school Olineman could make their self a bunch of money I'm interested to see Mike Rose , LB Iowa state ... He's 6'4 250, good in all facets , and one of the youngest guys in the draft I read ... Surprise 2nd or 3rd Rd pick

Both are big, athletic, can play the Slot overhang, cover well, tackle well, but lack that aggressive/physicality. I like them but someone has to punch them in the nuts to get them to play more aggressively.

Curious about your thoughts to my counter point. 12 hours ago, DudeWhat??? said: That is exactly my concern..so I would pass and trade down I am of a little different school of thought. Everyone says two down player, but don't necessarily account for Goal line, third and one or fourth and one in the equation. We got steamrolled in all of those scenarios. I always argue that if you have a player who can make that kind of impact, they are worth it. We look at analytics, scheme, and style. I was a huge proponent of drafting Vita Vea, not that he would have fallen to the Steelers, but despite being that same two down specialist, he more than earns his keep with being a dominant run stuffer and keeping their ILB's clean. I think that is very under-rated in todays game. We are fascinated by pressures, sacks, and pass rushers. The game is still won and lost in the trenches. Get mean up front on both sides of the ball and teams are hard to beat. 4 hours ago, Shady Slim said: Quote I'm hoping that we can trade for jimmy g before the draft, and funnel our picks into cb and the oline I like Jimmy G, but I am concerned about his durability and decision making. He can move and can make the throws, but he also (traditionally) throws up more balls for grab than I like. But yes, he is better than Mason. He's more mobile, but probably also more fragile. I will say in Mason's defense, he does not typically try to force the ball. The bad thing is he also misses some open receivers, can be a tad late in his read and throws, and doesn't pull the trigger when he probably should. Mason is also probably not as accurate as Jimmy G overall either. Quote that's a very obvious strategy the cb and oline picks but its obvious bc it's necessary I think free agency will have a lot to do with what direction the Steelers go in the draft. What position will they prioritize adding a veteran over a draft pick? I could see them trying to sign a veteran or veterans at various positions to upgrade: QB obviously, C, OG, RT, RB, WR, CB, NG, DE, ILB, OLB depth, and/or a starting Safety. This is without knowing how key on team signings go like Ju Ju, Edmunds, etc. you know who else thinks jimmy g would be a good fit for the Steelers? future gm of the organization mina kimes!

warfelg
Kenny Pickett didn’t get his hands measured. Willis and Riddler have MASSIVE wingspans. Zappe with huge hand size. Strong is just a big dude, that boarders Big Ben size at draft time.

armsteeld
Kenny Pickett says he's double-jointed and that's why he didn't get his hands measured today. People hoping for the Steelers to draft him need to be aware of what double-jointed actually is.
