broncofan48
Was talking to my boss about taking the Monday after Superbowl off, as I try do every year. And with the delayed date of the Superbowl being 2/13/22 this year it got me thinking: I've read places that an estimated $4billion in productivity losses the Monday after Superbowl. Guys like me being the main culprits. Why not add a bye week to the regular season, and have a 17 game season with the Superbowl coming on the 3rd Sunday of February, the day BEFORE President's day? SkippyX
I'm pretty sure they are heading that way with an 18th game.
Blackstar12
I always felt why isn’t the Super Bowl on a Saturday. It’s a win for everybody.

Saturday night is actually a death slot for most programming. However the Super Bowl isn't most programming.
Acgott
People take trips that weekend, it would lead to a potential decrease of views, which is less revenue.

How much of the population has president's day as a holiday? I don't, so it would change anything from a" productivity " angle.

You really think the NFL would lose a lot of viewers? Won’t be that much different than those that adjust to watch Saturday playoff games. BigTrav
It should definitely be a Saturday. However, my view point has been skewed ever since I started my tour in Europe and it sucks waking up at 6am after the games finish at 3:30am here. im jealous of ya’ll back home this time of year
