So its possible Deebos camp is not willing to work something out with the niners, which is why the team is signaling to the fanbase that they are trying, but deebo is not willing. But this team needs someone that can come in and be a 1 or 2 because you 100% can't have that be Jennings. Julio (besides Beckham, who may not be able to play) is the only guy available in free agency who can do that. It's him and Landry at the top of that scrap heap. Even if you go and make sure you get your Deebo replacement in the draft (I think that would have to be Burks, but not sure if @JIllg would agree with that or not), you need a little bit of a buffer (especially if it's Burks because of how raw he is) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Forge Posted April 20, 2022 Author Share Posted April 20, 2022 After getting all the glory that was the trade up last year and the QB debates...I needed a satisfactory follow up this year, and that wasn't going to be easy to do....but I couldn't just go back to a normal silly season quite yet. That's like cold turkeying a crack addiction. Needed to be let down easier than that.
