He just quit on the same Dallas Cowboys Franchise who refused to quit on him (despite multiple and I mean multiple NFL league suspensions). Dallas is better off without a person like him inside of their locker room... I get that you like to have controversial Cowboys takes, but this is just stupid. RG was loved by his teammates. RG was loved by our owner. RG was loved by the fans. RG was arguably the best pure pass rusher the past ~4 years on a per snap basis (Parsons will pass him). We arent better without RG. The Broncos improved by stealing him.

If he hurries a QB into throwing a pick 6 is that not at least as good as a sack. Nope, if it doesn't help their fantasy IDP football team, it doesn't matter. Sacks have been and will continue to be the most overrated statistic in sports. Pressuring the QB into an errant throw, missed 3rd down conversion, forcing a punt and or INT never hit a box score. But a sack on 1st and 10, next throw a 80 yd TD will. 👌
broncos67
Not sure why people are so down on this. Y'all should know to look at the contract structure and not raw numbers. It's effectively a 2-year deal and then "we'll see." I believe its $27MM for those 2 years. Worth the risk IMO. Denver probably would've drafted an OLB R1 if they kept the picks. In effect, this signing covers the 2-year period of no R1 picks, and then in 2024, re-assess the OLB need. I don't think it's a dumb signing at all, and absolutely makes Denver a better team. Depends on what the fine was for? Late to a team meeting because something came up could be a fine. Like what was the exact language in the contract pertaining the fines? Team could fine him for whatever and use it as an excuse to void depending on how it’s worded.
