I'm sure he's going to be really committed to working through injuries, trying, and improving his game now since he has so many financial incentives in his contract to reward him.

Or maybe a guy who's only been rewarded for being an awful person and awful teammate will learn that he can get away with anything.

I don’t even like the guy, but you’re grasping as nothing here.

His work ethic has never been questioned as far as I know.

He literally didn't play last season because he quit on the team because they were struggling

That attitude will not take you far here where struggle is a guarantee

Didnt you just say something yesterday about toxic workplaces and such?

So just following where you’re head’s at here, Baker was entitled to be upset and request a trade, but not Watson?

Oh, and I hate you for making me even attempt to defend this clown.

I don't think expecting your franchise QB to not whip his junk out and put a woman's hand on it is a wildly puritanical notion.

Perfect

LOL 3 first rounders and $230M fully guaranteed for an injury prone rapist QB who's quit on one team already. I see no way this backfires.

Let he who is without two dozen sexual assault allegations cast the first stone.

But seriously, as far as sexual assault claims against, Watson is pretty elite. I'd say the top .01% of the country and probably #1 all time for NFL QBS.

Absolutely perfect

By far the funniest thing about this is of the four teams to pursue him the Browns were his fourth choice.

But then everything fell apart at home so the Browns offered him $230M 100% guaranteed.

Spot on

I mean, he played.  The coach held him out after the hit.

People are seeing what they want on this one to some degree.  He’s a QB who’s missed 2 full starts after an injury to his throwing part.

Maybe this all incredibly prophetic in 6 months or a year, but missing 2 starts and your coach telling you to sit after watching you throw post injury doesn’t mean you aren’t working hard.  You can’t just take more reps in practice to heal an injury.

It’s still early

people want to see instantly results and I understand why you would want to

but it’s a long journey

to this point it hasn’t worked out

but idk if y’all have watched any Buccaneers games, but Bakers looks pretty trash the last two. Like I said he ain’t got it. We know that for sure. Jimmy Garoppolo ain’t got it neither. So yes going after Deshaun was still the right move. We just gotta see it play out.
