You don't think Shazam, Aquaman, Suicide Squad (Gunn) or Peacemaker are better than Eternals? How? That's not even touching The Batman.

I didn't really enjoy Shazam. It was fine I guess. Never care to go back. The new suicide squad wasn't anything special even if it was better than the first. The peacemaker tv show got better as it went on, but honestly the best thing about it was the intro. Are they better than the eternals movie? Probably. That movie stunk too.

I'm not even saying they are great. Eternals is simply a really low bar. It's a bottom 5 MCU movie at best.

Didn't see Suicide Squad or Peacemaker. I thought Aquaman was terrible, and I've additionally never bought into Jason Mamoa's iteration. Just seemed like WB trying to have their own version of Thor. Shazam was ok, but I thought it fell off in the third act. The new 52 comic it's based on is great though.

As for Eternals, I just completely bought into what Chloe Zhao was doing as a director. The film in the first act takes longer than it should, but the rest of the picture had me pretty engaged.

Aquaman for me had a common problem with the DCEU, I just didn't like it nearly as much on a rewatch.  Only DCEU movie i've really enjoyed on multiple viewing is Man of Steel.

Same. Man of Steel is the only one I'm ok with rewatching. I like that one.

They need to figure out like Marvel did for Thor (Hemsworth) that Mamoa is a good comedic actor

WB needs to kill off Heard's character in a similar fashion to how South Park killed off Chef

I'm glad you liked it personally. It's still a deeply flawed and one note film that by virtually any measure doesn't hang with the others listed.

Ok. Sorry you feel that way about it. But hey, better you than me! :)

There are rumblings that Ezra Miller could be replaced as the Flash by Dylan OBrien.

I would much rather the DCEU start from scratch, but since thats doubtful...I would be pretty damn happy with that....even though the DCEU will likely continue to be wildly inconsistent and largely mediocre.

I thought there was reports that he was playing Nightwing, that’s the only thing that throws me.
