After every draft most of us were happy and understood the picks. For the most part, Rick was a good drafting GM. Its not his job to coach guys up. Not only is it a team game amongst the players, it's also a team game amongst the coaching staff and management. So, yes, it is also his fault...because even when those players went elsewhere, it's not like they all of a sudden blossomed. Zimmer, even as crusty as he was, exposed a lot of these players for what they were, which is not where they should have been drafted. The pick didn’t contribute as a rookie, I think that’s going to become a problem with how the league is moving towards paying veterans ridiculous contracts.
