Outside of White there was nothing flashy about this draft. But it was a sexy draft. And that’s a hell of a luxury in my opinion. We have no shortage of talent at skill positions and Licht made us a lot better at critical spots that will ultimately win us games in the 4th quarter. These guys will be in place when we need to draft the flashy skill position players in coming years. B+

SBLIII
B I don't see many reaches and at the same time Licht got needed depth and starters at positions of need. The fun thing about the draft is nobody really knows anything and the worst draft right now could end up the best and vice versa but I liked Licht's process about it. Strenghtened the LOS, can cut his awful punter now, got 2 TEs and a boom or bust corner. Best case that boom or bust corner learns technique through NFL coaching and becomes a faster Richard Sherman, Hall and Goedeke start at DL and guard, Otton was wrongly used in college and explodes like Knox at Buffalo, Carmada is an above average punter as a rookie and White becomes a high quality backup to Fournette and even pushed him for reps.
djw4bucs
B+ would have been an A if we didn’t take a punter tbh but we filled needs and did very well with trades really liked it

Not sure how great of a player he’ll be right now but I like his tools. The more I read about Goedeke the more I understood why we got him. Bucs OL took a big hit once Wirfs went down. Well, this guy is more than capable of kicking outside at RT if that happens. They want him to compete at LG which is awesome but I like his versatility and anchor ability. Was impressed with the LSU film. My fav pick of the draft after further review. White is great value in the third, will have a niche here as a pass catcher. Otton and McClloum all great value picks. The punter pick brings the grade down though, im not fond on picking them early. Edited May 1, 2022 by indifference
ravishingone
I would not pull the grade of this draft class because of drafting a punter. Why did it seem more times then not when Pinion was needed to flip field position because the offense sputtered, he was not up to the task. Our oppenents did not seem to have that issue. Keep in mind, the other punter/kickoff specialist was picked earlier in the round. It was a short prospect pool, so Licht reacted. There was a clear indication they want this offense to be better then middle of the pack in rushing. Considering the QB is not mobile and they haven't finished above 20th in rushing since I believe Koetter was OC is quite an aggressive goal. Licht drafted some aggressive dudes to achieve this goal. BucsDraftGeek47
i dont want to be a homer so im going to say a solid B we reached on a few guys but they were the guys we wanted all along love the Rachaad White and Zyon McCollum picks Goedeke pick has really grown on me, got that nasty in him that will only get brought out further with Jensen the sensei Hall was a need pick Otton im not really sure about but was a solid depth pick and Gronk insurance and Keift and Annthony are just guys , Licht has a habit of using the late rounders on guys that are niche specific all in all great job, i might not have loved the guys initially but i understand why all of them were picked and thats just what Licht does, nails drafts, ive honestly enjoyed most every Licht draft
Pickle Rick
C I liked 3 picks of the first 4 picks and then after that I thought some of the UDFA signings were better lol.

It's hard to ignore the value we got for Hall, Otton, McCollum, and Goedeke. Goedeke is probably a day 1 starter along with Hall- who will atleast be summoned in a heavy rotational duties. McCollum was a shock to still be there in round 5. He's got untapped potential so getting him there in round 5 when some had him as a round 3 talent. White is a safe pick bc he's drafted to be a 3rd down back with his ability to catch and protect. How he is as a potential starter full time or how much he will carry the ball behind Fournette remains to be seen. Felt there were better options - Pierce, Spiller, and even Robinson. But I think Tom had some say in the type of back he looks for. Don't really care for the Punter selection. Kickers are more valuable and I didn't understand why you'd take a punter in round 4 over a kicker if you're going to be that stupid. Tyler Johnson, Miller, Darden, Perriman, and Grayson - neither of those guys should be locks to make the roster. Adding another Young receiver like Shakir from Boise State could've been a better depth piece to push for a spot and added speed. Or another edge rusher. The other two will fight to make the roster. Kieft has a strong chance bc TE is a position that was frail. With McElroy coming in as the 2nd TE on the roster prior to the draft - he still was no lock to make it. Kieft is a run blocking TE so its clear we're looking to increase our running game. Overall - It's a B. I think at worst you added two solid starters in Hall and Goedeke. Otton has potential to start in 2023. White has nice vision. If he can prove to carry the rock 15+ times per game when needed and perform well - he can be the starter in 2023. Hall and McCollum have excellent upside though as Hall could be a very good DT if he maximizes his potential - same with McCollum.

kgarrett12486
Right now, I give the draft a B- overall. We hit all the major needs IMO with guys that I had pegged at/near the round we picked value wise (outside of Camarda). We even got McCollum a full 2 rounds lower than where I thought he'd go. It has the potential to evolve into a A- depending on how significant of roles Hall and Goedeke play in year one. This was definitely a target guys with a high ceiling, but potential low floor draft. Nothing wrong with that if you develop them correctly.
haveyoumetdustin
I’m going B+ as far as how happy I am with it. In two years it could be a D, it could be Lichts best draft, or anything in between. LOGAN HALL I got more and more on board with this pick as we got closer. I much prefer him over Wyatt. Younger, (marginally) better athlete, more production with less around him. He needs to add weight and refine some, but I think he has the best shot at becoming a star out of all IDL in the class. I can see him becoming a Cameron Heyward type. LUKE GOEDEKE Who are we to question Licht and this FO when it comes to OL prospects? It’s not hyperbole when I say I’d be shocked if this guy isn’t a pro bowler. RACHAAD WHITE I wanted a new RB in the first two days so I’m happy. He’s maybe the best receiving back in the draft, good size and athleticism, some big games, I can see this being a home run pick. Could 100% be the Hunt/Kamara/David Johnson of this draft class. Or he could be Charles Sims. CADE OTTON Not my first or second choice at TE, but for a 4th I’m not going to complain. Will be a better pro than what he showed in college. I think he’s a young Brate. JAKE CAMARDA I really wanted the guy the Ravens took, ideally in the 5th, but they kind of forced our hand. We targeted a starting P and got one of our guys, hopefully he works out. ZYON MCCOLLUM We liked him before he blew up at the combine, so our FO sees something in his play. Hard to not love a swing on an athlete like this. Will be a ST contributor day 1 but probably won’t get real defensive snaps till next season. KO KIEFT I like this pick an unreasonable amount. He won’t be Scotty Miller, but I think guys like this are always good to have on the roster. If he can be Nick Boyle that’d be amazing. ANDRE ANTHONY Probably another Terry Beckner.
