It just looks better for them, it contrasts with the Cowboys better, and KC is the only team in the AFC with red as the dominant color. Only thing that sucks is TNF is gonna be exclusively on Amazon Prime this year, so unless you have a subscription you can't watch it or you would need to find a stream for the game online, so I'm not sure how many people will be watching it. I also don't know how many people will be interested in a Texans-Eagles game regardless. It'll be like Christmas in November with the Green/Red kinda like Jets/Bills in 2015 with the color rush jerseys. This game should be a bit easier on the color-blind as the Texans will be wearing white pants and the Eagles will be wearing white jerseys lol. Dome Posted July 26, 2022 Share Posted July 26, 2022 (edited) I’ll go first… Saints Old Gold refers to oil and the faded gold color.. the Saints color scheme black and gold is a play on the term “black gold” that was making some people in Louisiana rich at the time.
