candyman93
Is Phoenix the perfect team? Strong talent, quiet personalities, good coach, and in a smaller market. Everybody is under contract other than Ayton. No distractions, they just ball. Edited March 29, 2022 by candyman93

They are a true team like the 2015/2016 Warriors, early 2010s Spurs etc organically constructed, egoless, super confident but humble at the same time Good mix of young talent + vets Only knock on their team is the owner is garbage To me the 2014 Spurs were the truest ‘Team’ I’ve ever seen. Basically they had 9 guys between 9ppg and 16ppg, no egos, and everyone passed, rebounded, shot, defended etc. Almost no star power and they cut through everyone in the playoffs

The only team I think can beat Phoenix is Milwaukee because they’re a bad matchup due to Giannis.

Agree I think Suns have easiest path to finals and thus are current title favorites but I think Milwaukee would beat them Boston is x-factor

Giannis has been skinny Shaq. As long as Holiday and Middleton do their jobs, Milwaukee will win the East. In sports, I’m going to always pick the guy more physically imposing. Embiid is a force, but Giannis is more physically difficult to deal with due to his motor. We’ve seen Embiid get tired.

brooks1957
I think our Cavs have far exceeded expectations this season. The injury bug has just robbed this team of their ability to put together a playoff push. I don't say that as a complaint , but as the God's honest truth. We are a young team that was short on experience, and we were hitting the wall. Then Allen got hurt, and then Mobley. Kudos to everyone else for stepping up and doing the best they could, but they are simply out of gas. A true "bringing a water pistol to a gun fight" scenario. I think we have clinched a spot in the play in tournament, but I don't expect us to survive past the first full round of the playoffs. I do not say this as a way of throwing shade at the Cavs - exactly the opposite. I think the future of this team is very bright. We just got hit with with an unprecedented run of injuries. Life in the NBA. But let's just peek to the 2022-23 roster. PG: Garland SG: Sexton SF: Markkanan/LeVert PF: Mobley C : Allen Bench: PG: Goodwin SG: Okoro/Stephens/Windler SF: Stephens/Osman PF: Wade/Love That's a dang solid 9 man rotation. candyman93
March Madness talk: Kansas is unbelievably good. Everybody on their team can score. They’re better than Nova, Duke, and UNC. I really wish the Big 10 went hard after them. Edited April 2, 2022 by candyman93

Agreed, but I'd make a couple tweaks. PG: Garland SG: Okoro SF: Markkanan PF: Mobley C : Allen Bench: PG: Sexton SG/SF: Levert/Stephens/Osman PF: Love C : Mobley Wade and Goodwin are depth IMO. That's a quality 10 deep. I could see upgrades at the wing too.
