If Lazard is 8M or less, that's a deal that we have to do, if he wants to come back.

He's likely in that 10-12M range.  I know the difference kindda minimal, but our cap situation is not good.

Also...our WR situation is not good.  We could use a vet in there.  Talent is there, but it's young.

It would be kind of fun to screw with Aaron and snag his guy Lazard,  I'd say for 8 mil it would be a smart addition.

Kind of funny that OAK has added WR's Adams and Meyers over the past couple years, and paired that with Jimmy-G at QB.

They are perfect fits for Jimmy though. The Raiders offense should be excellent if they can find an interior offensive line.

AND use any draft pick(s) we get from Jets to draft WR's and/or TE's.   Really load up the receiving room just to piss him off

The more the better.  We'll get a nice comp for him.

Right, Schefter is reporting that the Jets and another unnamed team were both working hard to sign him. Hope he gets 15-20M per.

Rodgers already decreasing his next team's chances of winning by demanding they allocate cap to a player at a position of no need just so he can have a friend in the locker room. Heartwarming

If it’s any consolation, Jets fans on Twitter are already sick of his bull **** and he’s not even there yet

Oh they will all change there tune once he's a Jet.  Hey we are all sick of waiting but let's be honest no one knows what is transpiring behind the scenes.  It's a complicated deal and it's probably not Rodgers holding it up either.

NFLN has been predominantly GB sources, seems like they're finally coinciding with the sources on the Jets side. This hopefully is done by the start of the league year tomorrow.

Leads me to believe we'll be getting a WR from the Jets as part of the deal.
