berndt_toast
If the Packers are holding it up for this, buckle up folks. The ride could get bumpy.

He is under contract, as long as they pay him… they are holding up their side of the deal. Doesnt matter right… Rodgers doesn’t need to show up until training camp. That’s enough time

{Family Ghost}
Seems like this should have been settled a while back, but if the Packers are asking for (2) #1's, and the Jets are countering with (2) #2's, it would only make sense to meet in the middle and get it settled. Packers get pick #13 this year and a 2nd in 24. Simple.
Jaire_Island
I think JETS will now start to show interest in Lamar Jackson

They can't take another swing at drafting someone since the owner wants to win now. They probably don't have the draft capital to get up and get one of the 4 QB's either. The owner opened his mouth and put the GM in a pickle. Pretty much. The Jets are not in an envious position. If they pull out of the Rodgers' trade, their GM is almost certainly going to see that leash tighten.
Julyan Morley
If the Jets don't get Rodgers, then you can knock 7 points off every point spread of theirs this season. Good luck to them trying to find that kind of impact drafting a lineman in the first round.

Absolutely. If they use that as leverage to negotiate one 1st and a conditional 2nd next year or something similar. I do give the Packer brass kudos for holding out for the most they can get, and still crucify them for not trading him when they should have. I think if you're getting #13, you're probably not getting a Day 1 pick the following year and I'd guess that you're not getting a SRP either.
