If the new regime valued him as a potential starter I don’t think they would’ve minded paying him 4.5M APY, lol.

I was told all off-season he was a potential starter here with more potential than guys like Baker, etc. I disagreed and obviously the front office did too. Listen to me more and you won’t have as many terrible takes!

ok but can you understand how this is different than saying. . .
I told you the front office didnt value him, I was right because they didnt resign him? 


I dont think anyone thought we were going to sign him to a big contract. The broncos gave him pretty solid backup money, doenst mean we didnt value him, just probably means they wanted to go with Jimmy G and draft a qb to back him up
