Your roster is never done. “… You’re always looking for ways to improve your team. I think dynamics change every day at every position with every player. The marketplace changes, and you’re always aware of it.” Door’s wide open in Atlanta! Not at all. They've been operating all offseason as if Ridder is the guy. Beat guys here have all been saying Ridder is the guy. Owner straight up has endorsed Ridder and they want Ridder. Asked the owner straight up and the response he gets is “pretty much every team has to look at Lamar like an opportunity.” Surely, Atlanta’s got to be the betting favorites at this point

Well, there is a Biltmore Hotel in Baltimore, but I think they're referring to the Biltmore Resort in Arizona where the annual owners' meeting is taking place. There was no point in paying Henickie solid backup money with Ridder already there on a rookie deal if the plan was to give someone else a massive deal. Exact quote from Blank: Quote "We (Fontenot, Smith and Blank) all feel comfortable that [Ridder] should be the starter coming into this next year." - Arthur Blank

Nah, I just feel that any team that doesn’t have a good QB should at least consider a guy like Lamar being a massive upgrade to their QB room

candyman93
Is Arthur Smith trying to just copy Vrabel? Best case scenario is that Ridder plays at Tannehills level. If the Falcons hover around bad, but not bad enough- I bet they go after Tannehill next year.

Doesn't sound like an endorsement to go get a guy. Idky people just won't get over the fact that the Falcons aren't going for Lamar. Their won't be a Mike Vick Experience 2.0 and everyone trying to be the "smartest person in the room" saying Lamar to ATl since December were all just wrong. Its going to cost at least 2 FRPs to get Lamar + some, then you have to give him 200M+ fully GTD, he is going to eat 20% of your teams cap meaning you cant pay other positions, hes been injury prone recently and his style will be effective for what? 5 more seasons until hes 32? Thats a LOT to give up 5ish seasons of Lamar Jackson.
General Tso
Interesting thought. No way Williams costs a 1st rounder, and if you don't give that for Rodgers either, Jets can do anything they want with that 1st rounder.

I don't imagine it would cost more than a third at best, provided the Bengals are willing to move him.

Jonah hasn't been very good and he's due for an extension soon.
