Can anybody explain to me how the LA Rams can pay all of these dudes?

It feels like they’re paying 5 dudes $15M+...while WFT pays nobody and seems to always be strapped for cash.

Ramsey’s cap hit this year is still only $6 million, next year it goes up to $22 million and I think by then they’re thinking Whitworth will be retired and they’ll have a rookie LT.

Washington hasn’t been cash strapped since the days of Vinny & in 2012/2013 bc of the body’s cap penalty. I actually wish we were a little more cash strapped  from 2017-2019. This year I get, we’re rebuilding but I guess this Is what you get when your team President  Is the least trusted in the NFL.

Rams have some interesting cap situations going.  Ramsey isn't getting much this year, and his contract goes up next year and Whitworth might be gone (Thanks @turtle28) They also have Goff on an out in two seasons, and Gurley's penalty is over next year as well.  They have also drafted very well.  

Washington Team Football has had a lame duck coach per NFL standards for a couple seasons now, and Bruce Allen was known as a snake in the grass.  We aren't strapped for cash, just few people want to come here.  Rivera has a lot of work to do to change the perception of the franchise for the players, and the allegations against Snyder aren't helping things.

Where are you getting this information? Do you work in the organization to make this statement a #Fact?

We overpaid for Landon Collins to come here.  We made him the highest paid safety to come here.  A box safety.  Who else has come here?  What has Dan Snyder (and at the time Bruce Allen and Jay Gruden) done to make the team a destination?  This is the optic that is reported by our own beat reporters, as well as the national reporters.  It's no secret.  Take off your burgundy and gold glasses and do a Google search.

Yet this year another guy took over the highest paid Safety title. Seems a lot of you guys have a problem with Everyone getting paid except Kirk Cousins. Have fun with that Philosophy and see what Super Bowl you Win!

Its more like we have to overpay guys to come here. Which matters except for the qb position. The most important position on the field which we had Cousins. And without weve been reduced to zero talent whatsoever.

You are aware this team was so terrible it drafted 2nd last year. 2nd worst team in the league. Worst scoring avg for a team in a few seasons.

Kirk wouldnt win us a Super Bowl. But at least he could have helped make this a respectable team.

Only 10 to 12 teams actively try to win the Super Bowl. We dont have one. Our team is nothing more than a business to make money for the owner. Thats why a guy that was just fired because of how awful he performed as coach was hired instead of going after someone that could produce. So if they would have paid Kirk what he wanted. We would have at least had a decent team going. Instead of 2nd worst with the lowest scoring offense the leagues had in years.

If you think this team will ever win a Super Bowl then youre delusional. Its built for one reason. To make money for Dan. Thats why it has a new president that would do things like showing companies how much more money they could make by using Uyghur Muslim slaves to make their products. A man Dan can like. So Collins is the reason the Cardinals paid Budda Baker? The Market for Safety has nothing to do with Baker's or Collin's deal?

Jamaal Adams won't more than likely get paid more than both Baker and Collins? 

Outside of the QB position, The Philosophy you guys seem to have no other position should get their Fair Value. 

Kirk got that deal with no Playoff Wins and after turning down a fair deal that SM offered him in like 2015-2016. The Washington Redskins where picking 5th in the draft and drafted Scherrf to help the QB and Oline. Than added Jackson to go with Garcon that offseason. Witch than helped Kirk numbers improve. Kirk and his agent than used the Franchise Tag to their Advantage witch landed Kirk his 84 million guaranteed.

Other player's/agents learned from that and are implementing it. Why is that a Problem for You guys in this Forum?

DeSean Jackson & Josh Norman did too but both were not in the beginning of free agency and we overpaid Josh Norman.

Collins is the reason Baker got paid. Theyve set a market for Safeties. Because both are at places they wouldnt be if they wernt getting overpaid.

Kirk was setting a dozen Redskin records on his way to getting his contract. Collins isnt a top 10 safety and it took that big payday to bring him in. Giants didnt even attempt to mess with the stupidity Bruce & company were laying down in order to sign that moron.

Like I said. Its a business to make Dan money. The goal isnt to win a Super Bowl. So when they had money they had to dump. They dumped it on Collins. Cause it doesnt matter to them where they spend it. They just have to get the final team total within a certain range. And because teams like this one does such with players at randomly drawn positions. It screws the market for other teams trying to sign guys at previously reasonable offers.

@PARROTHEAD So you too aren’t giving Rivera a chance either? He was one of the most sought after head coaches after he was fired. The biggest reason he was fired was bc Cam Newton wasn’t healthy the last two seasons and a lot of injuries to their defense the last two years and, they new owner wanted his own guy. If people are truly being honest, they’d know that and acknowledge that.

Where is the Blame for the Vikings giving a Non Playoff winning QB 84 million dollars guaranteed? Your saying Washington basically has to overpay for Player's to come. How was Kirk Cousin's not overpaid? Only because he broke Redskins records?
