WizeGuy
Nothing wrong with signing a pretty good tackle. He's not elite, but you'll be hard pressed to find a top tier tackle. He did finish the season incredibly strong, though. Perhaps there's another gear to his game.Ā
sparky151
This is an excellent move by the Bengals. Upgrade a premium position at a below-market cost.Ā Ā Did the Bears make him an offer? They should have.Ā
Chiefer
2:10; He says KC was āa lot more difficult, and a lot more harder, because of the one-on-onesā shouldnāt LTs normally take on guys āone-on-oneā? š

Because between him and Wylie, they seemed to ALWAYS have someone chipping for either/or constantly. Especially when OBjr was against any fast pass rusher.Ā

Ah, is that why it correlates to one of the highest pressure rates give up individuals Ā the league?Ā Ā id love to see what the average double team rate is, 30-35%? The other factor here is Burrow's vs. Mahomes' trigger.Ā QB's can induce a lot of pressures by dancing around.Ā We all know Mahomes likes to do that. So many factors.Ā OBj has some worrying stats, but also some really promising ones as it relates to the Bengals.Ā I'm pretty confident we're going to see a major upgrade at LT for the Bengals.Ā Ā

Especially by a good speed rush, it was our biggest issue with him. Be forewarned now.

I think that's probably going to be fine.Ā Joe handles edge pressure generally pretty fine, but the inside stuff can eat him up on shorter drops.Ā So as long he's not getting beat inside or bull rushed into oblivion like Jonah, it should be improved.
