Not with Minshew in the fold. I think Indianapolis just made their first intelligent move (Minshew) since drafting Andrew Luck. Perfect to bridge for a year or two for Richardson or Levis.

I like Minshew, but I don't view him as the best mentor for a guy like Richardson because he is a backup quality QB, not a starter-level QB.  The Colts can't survive a whole season with him starting...he proved that in Jacksonville.

Minshew isn't there to mentor the next guy. He's there to take the hits while the coaching staff gets Richardson ready and he can keep the team competitive-ish for the season without breaking the bank.
