I'm sure this is far from consensus and I'm missing on team needs....my bad but when does a draft ever do what the consensus says right...... Got some Explanations and put a couple trades. Have at it. (Will add more explanations if baby allows) 1-Car Bryce Young QB 2-HOU Will Levis QB (Yes im falling for the Vegas bait) 3-Trade Vegas- CJ Stroud QB (Vegas gets their guy) 4-INDY Anthony Richardson QB 5-SEA Will Anderson Edge 6- DET Devon WItherspoon CB 7-Tade ARZ Tyree Wilson Edge (Gets extra picks and the player they wanted) 8- ATL Paris Johnson JR OT/OG (I know fellow Falcons fans won't like this but I think they go with a Tackle convert to take over for Matthews in a couple years) 9-CHI Jalen Carter DT 10-TRADE GB Nolan Smith Edge (Team decides to bolster defense to help new QB) 11- TENN Broderick Jones OT 12-HOU Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR 13 NYJ Darnell Wright OT 14 NE Christian Gonzalez CB 15- TRADE PHI Myles Murphy Edge 16- WSH Bijan Robinson RB 17- PITT Joey Porter Jr CB 18- DET Lukas Van Ness Edge 19- TB Peter Skoronski OT/OG 20- SEA Zay Flowers WR 21- LAC Jordan Addison WR 22-BALT Brian Branch S/NCB 23-MINN Deonte Banks CB 24-JAX Bryan Bresee DT 25-NYG Cam Smith CB 26-DAL Michael Mayer TE 27-BUFF Jahmry Gibbs RB 28-CIN Darnell Washington TE 29- NO Dawand Jones OT 30-PHI Kelee RIngo CB/S 31- KC Isaiah Foskey Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

FalconFan13 Posted April 23, 2023 Share Posted April 23, 2023 Im not against taking a O-lineman at 8 although i personally would take a few people over Paris there. I would go with Skoronski if i wanted a LG for a few years and if i wanted a future OT i would go with Darnell Wright. Paris is probably my #4 OL in this draft after Wright Skoronski, and Jones. I'll also say if we are legit wanting a OL player then it would be really dumb not to trade down some as all 4 of them won't go top 15. If we are staying at 8 then we really need to grab a top 5 or so talent that falls to us like Carter, Gonzo, Wilson, or Bijan. Theirs absolutely no reason to stay there and take less talent it's just not smart to do. Either way if carter is there at 8 and the Falcons pass on him their pretty dumb for doing so and it will be the 1st real strike i would have on Fontenot as a GM. Even if carter flops after you take him i wouldn't be mad at him because it's worth taking the #1 talented player in the draft when he falls to you at 8.
