I dont even know who Benton is....so I wouldnt be joining the chippiness.
I've read some good things about Branch however.....just not enough to know his downsides.

The Lions were clearly motivated to get things that are scarce in this draft, but the prices they paid for those things are exorbitant.

I would hate Branch, but love Benton.  I would definitely be more comfortable adding one more DL to the mix.  I think the starting 3 of Wyatt, Clark, Slaton is pretty good.  But Ford is a complete unknown at this point, and as much fun as Slayton is in preseason, I can't help but think he is more of a AAAA player.

Benton's from Wisconsin, but he's more of a natural 2-Down NT. Which would be okay if we employed a consistent NT or even a 1T in our alignments.

add also, I think Benton is a very good player.  I think he could do some Mike Daniels type of stuff for us.
