Guys. McBride is actually legit as a runner. This is pretty cool.

He is why you wait on rbs. Getting someone of his ability in the 7th is great.

I like McBride, had him in a mock of mine but IMO he's not in the stratosphere as Bijan.  The waiting on RB's thing isn't lost on me I just dont lump players I think are going to be special in that category

Of course he’s not bijan. But if he hits and you are able to use your top ten pick on a more premium position that hits, that is tremendously valuable.

no one is lumping McBride with bijan.

Sorry if I made it seem you were lumping him in.  I was just more so talking about some RB's are still worth 1st round picks regardless of who's available later on

I think very few rbs are worth first round picks, especially top 15 picks. Bijan is probably one of them. I don’t think Gibbs is though.

Analysis by Lance Zierlein

Draft Projection: Round 4

NFL Comparison: Marlon Mack

Overview

Productive runner with the physical/athletic attributes that could create an upward trajectory in the right situation. McBride is experienced and comfortable running in all blocking schemes. He’s smooth-hipped and runs with a good blend of shiftiness, and power. He would benefit from a quicker tempo and decisiveness inside. He must eliminate ball security issues or he could end up falling out of favor quickly. McBride’s lack of third down value could hurt his draft slotting, but his upside is worth a Day 3 selection.
