Being in the NYT as a Vice Presidential choice of an...at least interesting I guess...semi-famous independent politician. WHILE getting ready to play another season in the NFL. But not a jeopardy host. Too bad!
incognito_man
Honestly this is probably the most strategic move for RFK for exposure. Would be a spectacle to start the season. I wonder how that works in an NFL contract?

Dubz41
Idiocracy, from 2006, watch it. I thought it was a whacked comedy, but turns out to be a prophetic documentary. We're living it now.
Mr Bad Example
It's always funny to me how "distraction" is almost always code for "advocate for progressive causes" because teams fall all over themselves excusing woman beaters, drunks, narcissistic maniacs, and alt-right dillweeds

Old Guy
It is sounding more and more like the Rodgers being Kennedy's VP pick is a real possibility. It's not a joke, well to Kennedy that is, everybody else is laughing their *** off. Sounds like Rodgers actually wants the gig. The question then is, how does he play football and run as the VP? Does this force him to retire, or step away through the first week of November?

It there is insurmountable backlash, he'll pivot elsewhere. But from a strategy standpoint for RFK, there's no other way to get as much free publicity. Which is what you want in his position. The NFL season would/will be an absolute spectacle if Rodgers tries to do both things and the Jets put up with it.

Leaving Wisconsin for New York only to come back and win the state in a general election and deny Trump or Biden the 270 they need in the electoral college.
