Sllim Pickens Posted September 28, 2023 Share Posted September 28, 2023 I actually think the best fit for Jrue is going back to New Orleans. They could use a true PG and wing defender. A starting 5 of Jrue, CJ, Ingram, Zion, Valanciunas would be very solid. Adding Herb Jones and Murphy off the bench. Although I am not sure they can make it work financially with CJ, Zion and BI all on big deals. The Nets could be another interesting spot but they don't have much to give back and I doubt the Blazers would want Simmons. Likely will need another 3 team deal or something to move Jrue. The Bucks are clearly better with Dame than Jrue based on how horrible our offense got in the post season the last couple years, but I don’t know that it’s enough of an upgrade to be better than the Celtics with Jrue over Smart.
