1st round talent with an UDFA work ethic. He was a great add and is probably better than Ringo tbh.

Ringo has probably performed like our worst pick so far. There’s been some ups from him in camp and preseason to a lesser extent, but def more downs than ups though.

The thing that I didn’t like was giving up a day 2 pick next year for him cause we are buying that pick. That’s not his fault though.

Overall he was a 20 year old when we drafted him and I’ll give him a year to develop. Jobe came in much improved from even last offseason.

I think Ricks v Ringo is a real thing.
However, the Eagles are going to side with Ringo for now.
He was a pick and has great measurables.
Plus, he's young.

However, Ricks can play.
Ringo gets lost in the sauce and may never make it at corner.
I'm wondering if he could transition to safety where he can look at the whole field and react.
Even he makes a bad read initially, he has the recovery speed.

I predict Ringo gets "injured" and is stashed.

There was predraft talk about ringo being a safety. He could be a very good center field type.

I might be remembering wrong, but I feel like they were the #1 and #2 ranked CB's on a lot of draft site rankings at this same time a year ago.

Ringo should switch to safety. Doesn't have the hip flip/foot balance to stick with guys in man once they make a horizontal cut. He can defend comebacks, curls, and go's, and that's basically it. Put him at safety and hope he can turn into Malcolm Jenkins, who likewise didn't have the hips to cut it at CB.
