Unlike other ******* who folded like lawn chairs Saquon/Jacobs I'm actually glad a Top 3 RB in the NFL stuck to his Guns! Especially after Irsay ran his MF Mouth!!!!

Come back week 11 to acquire your "physical " season like Vincent Jackson,  and *** the Colts and Especially Irsay for running his GD mouth!!!!!!🥃

Yes, he’s mad because they never made him an offer. So he doesn’t know how much they value him. But until he’s healthy their value means nothing.

Its certainly possible they would but the way the position is going I just wouldnt trust what a GM/Owner is saying when it comes to my contract

With that said, this is all-time levels of bad timing on his part though. The team was terrible and he was too. At least Josh Jacobs had a leg to stand on, the team was bad but he and Adams did their part

Is it possible that the move to the PUP list is giving a kind of olive branch?  Gives Taylor time to get to 100 percent, if he's not there, shortens his season so he isn't as run into the ground, and buys them time to negotiate.

Could be that the Colts got offers that they did not like (as in like, Dolphins saying "we'll give you a 2025 fifth rounder") and realized that they'd overplayed their hand?

If that's the case, then the best move is probably to give him a little something, say sorry privately, and try to come back to the table to get some kind of deal.

I genuinely feel bad for Colts fans. With Snyder out of the league, Irsay is target #1 for mockery and tomfoolery. Even over Jerry.

Don't.  They went from Manning to Luck, and still get treated in the offseason like they're not the povo franchise they are.  They deserve no sympathy.

It's hard. No one knows better than I what a mess an owner can make of you.

FWIW, since ppl are raising the issue of how serious the injury is, no better team/org source than Holder, so his opinion is incredibly noteworthy:

Reading between the lines, it's pretty clear that Taylor's "injury" issue wasn't a barrier - so it's far more than likely this is a hold-in.   What's baffling is that IND decided to put him on PUP to begin with.....but at the time, the relationship wasn't nearly as acrimonious.   Keeping him on PUP, reading the above, seems pretty clear Taylor can come off PUP, log his service time of 8+ weeks (4 being on PUP at a minimum) - and let the contract year, and get paid for at least half the season.    Whereas if IND really didn't think Taylor was hurt, taking him off PUP now not only keeps him tradeable and active for a prospective buyer for the first 4 weeks - but puts the ball back into Taylor's court re: playing and making his contract toll for 2023.

To say the decision to keep Taylor on PUP is puzzling is an understatement, if the injury wasn't serious enough to stall trade talks.   And again, this isn't speculation, this is from IND's #1 team source.

How do you see it playing out once the 4 weeks are up? Asking for a concerned fantasy owner.
